Reagan's mythical welfare queen didn't exist, but homeless veterans DO exist. I've seen them firsthand, and unfortunately, they appear all too often. In the summer of 2003, I wrote a piece for the Las Vegas CityLife called "Homeless Security" (love that title) all about vets on the streets. Since then, the CityLife censored my award-winning column and now I'm living with my mother at damn near 40.

In contrast, FOX News' Bill O'Reilly recently denied the existence of homeless veterans after Democratic presidential candidate John Edwards pointed them out.

In doing so, O'Reilly proved himself to be NO different than a neo nazi who'd deny that the Jewish Holocaust of World War II existed. Oh, I'm sure when push comes to shove, O'Reilly will acknowledge there are SOME homeless veterans, then again, I'm just as sure a neo nazi would likewise grudgingly admit SOME Jews died during WWII -- just not six million ...

As I said, I wrote about street vets, got censored and had to move back in with mom. O'Reilly on the other hand denys they ever existed, and not only is his ass on TV every night, but he's probably washing caviar down with champaigne at this very moment. And I want to make this perfectly clear: I find no, as in less than zero, inherent nobility in this David and Goliath disparity. In actuality, it's a pain that never ends.

The sick, prophetic irony of it all is, in my 2003 "Homeless Security" commentary, the very first line reads as follows: "I'm only read by thousands, whereas a rabid reactionary like Bill O'Reilly is heard by millions." To paraphrase Professor Howard Zinn (author of A People's History of the United States), freedom of speech ain't just a quality, it's also a QUANTITY. In other words, HOW MUCH free speech someone has is as important as whether one has it or not.

White liberals and New Age hippies who're related to people like O'Reilly claim I'm in danger of being consumed with anger; that if I don't "tone it down," then I'll fall from grace like Anakin Skywalker somehow. Could it be they're full of it because their asses are overly concerned that the blood relation in question might fall victim to a future revolutionary inspired by my words? Could it be that, by nipping me in the bud, they'll ensure the safety of their right-wing relatives?

Not that I give a three-legged rat's ass about anyone's K.K.K. kinfolk, but I've always been against the death penalty. Chalk it up to my superheroic upbringing. According to Wikipedia, the online encyclopedia: "The first issue of Batman was notable not only for introducing two of his most persistent antagonists, the Joker and Catwoman, but for one of the stories in the issue where Batman shoots some monstrous giants to death. That story prompted editor Whitney Ellsworth to issue a decree that the character could no longer kill or use a gun." So tell your far right family members they owe their very lives to a comic book editor named Whitney Ellsworth -- TELL THEM NOW! This leads me to my next point:

Greedy yuppies and Ron Paul libertarians claim that any attempt to share the wealth for the poor's benefit will inevitably result in a Stalinistic dictatorship. Could it be that these people are either ignorant or suspect? Ignorant in that they've clearly never heard of Amsterdam, which has BOTH free speech AND free, universal health care ... Suspect in that they're clearly more concerned with being too taxed to afford a MC Hammer-sized mansion than they are with any dictatorship (especially since they turn a blind eye to the house of horrors that is Guantanamo Bay, which is ironically on Cuban soil but run by AMERICANS).

NO MANSIONS, NO HOMELESS !!

I've been homeless a couple of times in my life. I spent my first night on the streets in the summer of 1991; I curled up in an abandoned building and you'd be surprised how cold a night in June can be. Even as I'm writing this, I've gone 48 hours without a meal. I say all this because it's personal now. Bill O'Reilly, are you or one of your underlings reading this? I'm calling you out! I DARE you to have me on your show, you scurvy bastard!

But I know you won't. FOX has had left-wingers (Alan Colmes don't count -- he makes Clark Kent seem macho, which I imagine is the whole point) on the air before, but not like me. See, I'm the most dangerous voice in America because I expose and indict everything from the School of the Americas to the C.I.A.'s genocidal track record with my every breath. Anyone the least bit familiar with me knows the word subtlety ain't in my vocabulary. So I'm certain my name is on, no pun intended, a black list insofar as who to give an audience of MILLIONS to and who not to (under any circumstances, no matter how low the ratings get) ...

Nethertheless, I'm calling you out just the same, O'Reilly! Bring it on!
